One of the most highly anticipated Lamborghini models in recent times, the Countach LPI 800-4 recently made its debut in Japan, where the car was also delivered to the first few owners in Japan.

In an effort to celebrate the occasion and make it a tad more special, Lamborghini chose a very photogenic location called Warehouse Terrada in Tokyo as the venue to unveil the Countach LPI 800-4.

Making things more memorable was a 1989 Countach 25th Anniversary edition which was on display alongside the LPI 800-4.

Interestingly, Lamborghini didn't blow this event out of proportion and kept things quite discreet and exclusive as only about 100 people including the press and owners among others were present. One of them was Francesco Scardaoni, the brand's regional director for Asia Pacific.

Following the unveiling and other formalities, the Countach LPI 800-4 was brought to the streets of Tokyo and photographed in front of some of the capital city's most iconic districts and buildings.

In case you're wondering what's the big deal with the Countach LPI 800-4, only 112 units were made to pay tribute to the original Countach which celebrated its 50th anniversary last year.

Powered by a V12 rear mid-engine and an electric motor which collectively make 814 hp, the Countach LPI 800-4 is capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 kph in just 2.8 seconds and 0 to 200 km/h in 8.6 seconds, while hitting a top speed of 355 km/h.

On another note, the Countach has always had a massive following in Japan. The car is so popular that it even became the protagonist of a famous Manga series called "Countach" which was published in 2004.

It is said that the Countach's presence in Manga comics dates back to the 1970's when it captured the Japanese audience with its futuristic shape, scissor doors, and its performance.

Hence, it is no surprise that Japan is a very special market for Lamborghini, especially when it comes to the Countach. That being said, let us help you get rid of some of that Monday blues with a gallery of the sexy Countach below.
