Yamaha Motor Sdn Bhd (HLYM) have announced the availability of a special limited edition version of its popular Lagenda 115Z cub (or kapchai) model to commemorate the Petronas Yamaha Sepang Racing Team (SRT) MotoGP racing team.

Introduced last Sunday at the Sepang International Circuit during the Malaysian Cub Prix 2019 season finale, the Lagenda 115Z GP Edition comes dressed in a special livery inspired by the homegrown racing team’s Yamaha YZR-M1 MotoGP machine.

Beyond the livery, the Lagenda 115Z remains mechanically unchanged, meaning no changes with its 113.7cc air-cooled four-stroke single cylinder powertrain setup.

Additionally, HLYM says that each owner of the Lagenda 115Z will also receive a special Certificate of Ownership that authenticates their bike’s status as a GP Limited Edition special.

Commanding a base retail price of RM5,580, the special Yamaha Lagenda 115Z GP Edition model dressed in the Petronas Yamaha SRT MotoGP livery is slated to hit authorised dealer floors from the middle of this month onwards.
