Covid-19: Selected Toyota service centres will reopen

UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd (UMWT) announced today that a handful of its authorised service centres nationwide will reopen, albeit at minimum capacities.

However, the firm strongly notes these selected service centres will only cater for emergency and urgent service requirements only, and this can only be done by appointment basis – strictly no walk-ins.

UMWT did not specifically listed which service centres have been allowed to reopen for these efforts. Instead, the firm advise all owners to contact their nearest respective service centres first to confirm if they are open and set appointments after which.

As for owners of vehicles with existing warranties that are valid and or expiring during the Movement Control/Restriction Order (MCO/MRO) period, there will be a 30-day extension calculated from the last day of the MCO.
