The BMW CE 04 and F 900 XR police versions go  'woot woot'

BMW Motorrad premiered the new BMW CE 04 and F 900 XR 'police versions' at MILIPOL 2021, an annual event dedicated to homeland security and safety. In cooperation with BMW Motorrad Netherlands, these two lovely bikes have been added to the country's two-wheeled police force which already includes the R 1250 RT, F 750 GS, and F 850 GS dressed in the appropriate police exterior graphics.

The electric scooter and middleweight tourer have been enhanced to their 'authorities versions' by the BMW Motorrad plant in Berlin by including a number of extra features such as LED flashing lights and beacon, siren, switches to control them, and the 'authorities case' for extra storage. For obvious reasons, non-police units can get these as optional parts.

According to BMW Motorrad, their authority versions can be customised and catered to any organisation like the fire brigade, military, and escorts. As for the BMW CE 04, this baby's main task is the roam the city streets silently and efficiently which will hopefully catch any criminals and evil-doers by surprise.

With a maximum power output of 41hp, the CE 04 is seen as a perfect environmentally-friendly mode of transport for police work within cities and urban areas. Should they need to put the pedal to the metal, the CE 04 can cruise to its maximum speed of 120km/h. Paired with a big 8.9kWh battery cell, the police will only need to charge it after going through a range of around 130km. Again, very good for city police work. Cool beans.
