BSH launches updated 2021 Honda CB650R & CBR650R - RM43,999 to RM45,499

Boon Siew Honda has unveiled its latest and updated 2021 Honda CB650R and CBR650R for the Malaysian market. Those who are looking for a sensibly-priced four-cylinder middleweight sport bikes can seriously consider these two Japanese offerings which now come with several updates and upgrades.

Both the 2021 Honda CBR650R and CBR650R ‘Neo Sports Café’ variants are now equipped with 41mm Showa Separate Function Big Piston (SFF-BP) USD forks. This particular upgrade offers enhanced riding stability thanks to its larger-sized piston and dedicated pressure separation damper and spring mechanism in each tube.

Both models are also equipped with a USB Type-C charging socket under the seat for those who are looking to charge their mobile devices while on the go. Higher up on the bike, future owners will also appreciate their newly refreshed LCD display with a slight change in LED angle as well as font size.

The rest of the 2021 Honda CBR650R and CB650R have been retained, including their 649cc inline-four DOHC engine that churns out a solid 94hp @ 12,000rpm and 63Nm of maximum torque at 8,500rpm. Power delivery is elegantly controlled via Honda’s Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) which helps in maintaining rear wheel traction.

For those who are interested to get one (or two) of your very own, the 2021 Honda CB650R Neo Sports Café is priced at RM43,499 with two colour options – Candy Chromosphere Red or Mat Gunpowder Black Metallic.

As for the 2021 Honda CBR650R and its full fairing setup, it is priced at RM45,499 and customers can choose between Grand Prix Red or Mat Gunpowder Black Metallic. Both prices stated above are excluding insurance, road tax, and registration. Both models will be available at all Honda Big Wing showrooms starting 23 February 2021.
