BMW Malaysia has expanded its electrified CKD portfolio with the launch of the 2021 BMW 740Le xDrive M Sport for the local market. Priced at RM591,503.05 (on-the-road price excluding insurance), this luxury sedan is said to be the perfect example of the brand's 'electrifying opulence'. In other words, it's hella luxurious.

The BMW 740Le xDrive M Sport comes with a very distinct front-end design thanks to its larger air intakes that blend together with its C-shaped brackets. Paired with BMW's iconic kidney grille and Laser Lights, the new 7 Series not only looks good but specifically designed to reduce air turbulence and drag.

This model also features the M Sport Aerodynamic Package, which comes with the Individual High-gloss Shadow Line, new striking rocker panel, 19-inch M light alloy wheels (Double-Spoke style 647 M Bicolour), mixed and run-flat tyres, M Sport brakes, and the Sky Lounge panorama glass roof.

As for firepower, the new 740Le xDrive M Sport is fitted with a 3.0-litre six-cylinder petrol engine that produces 286hp at 5,000rpm and 450Nm of torque as low as 1,550rpm. Its advanced electric motor and lithium-ion battery setup offers an additional 113hp and 265Nm of pure electric power. All that power is sent down to the wheels via an eight-speed Steptronic transmission.

0-100km/h is completed in just 5.1 seconds, while its top speed is safely capped at 250km/h. BMW also stated that the new 740Le xDrive M Sport is able to clock in a fuel consumption figure of 2.8 litres per 100km. As for the interior, the beauty comes ready with:

As stated above, the new BMW 740Le xDrive M Sport is available at RM591,503.05 with four classic colour options to choose from - Mineral White, Carbon Black Metallic, Donington Grey, and Bernina Grey with Amber effect. Customers can also choose its Exclusive Leather Nappa upholstery with either Black or Cognac stitching.
