Auto Bavaria bids farewell to Glenmarie centre
Leading BMW, BMW Motorrad and Mini dealers Auto Bavaria marked a significant milestone recently as the Sime Darby-owned firm bid farewell to its signature flagship facility in Glenmarie, Shah Alam (AB Glenmarie).
The occasion was marked through a special gala event held in the AB Glenmarie centre itself that also doubled up as a Deepavali celebrations gala. In attendance here besides the bulk of AB Glenmarie’s workforce were key management personnel led by Jeffrey Gan, Managing Director of Auto Bavaria.
“It is really important to celebrate the legacy and milestones of Auto Bavaria Glenmarie to ensure that the united spirit among our employees transitions over when we begin a new chapter at the new facility in November,’ said Gan during the event.
With that, Auto Bavaria is poised to up the ante once operations from AB Glenmarie are relocated to the firm’s brand new and state-of-the-art facility located in Ara Damansara sometime this month.
Christened as AB Ara Damansara 4S, the new space will stand as Auto Bavaria’s new flagship centre that houses all three key brands under the BMW Group Malaysia banner, those being BMW, BMW Motorrad and Mini, not forgetting the BMW Premium Selection pre-owned centre as well.
Spanning over 23,161 square metres at a cost of RM57 million, the new state-of-the-art Auto Bavaria Ara Damansara 4S will be the largest BMW facility in Southeast Asia, with the newest brand identity, expression, experience and double the workshop capabilities than the Glenmarie facility.
