All 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa sold out in 24 hours in India

Despite facing the worse of what COVID-19 has to offer in the past few weeks with constant six-figure new cases reported daily, that has not stopped the superbike enthusiasts from cleaning up all the stock for the 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa in less than 24 hours.

That's right, the first batch of the 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa was sold out within less than a day after bookings were opened in the country. It's indeed a strange affair happening at an even stranger time, a country that's predominantly focused on small-capacity bikes and is currently facing the worst of COVID-19, only second to the US but catching up quickly.

The main reason why the Hayabusa turned out to be a huge hot-seller is not just mainly due to its global cult following, but also how India has managed to price it competitively by locally assembling in the country. That drove down its final selling price of Rs 16.40 lakh, which is around the ballpark of only RM91,000.

With over 500 new parts, including its refreshed 1,340cc inline-four engine which produces 187hp and 150Nm of torque, the 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa is packed with a selection of electronic riding aids to ensure its versatility no matter the speed. Will it come to Malaysia? We sure hope so.
