Boon Siew Honda recently announced the arrival of the updated 2023 version of its flagship moped, the Honda RS-X.

For 2023, the Honda RS-X comes with new and bolder graphics that aim to make the bike look more exciting.

In total, there will be three colour options to choose from, which are all new. They include Lemon Ice Yellow, Candy Caribbean Blue Sea, as well as a tweaked version of Honda's popular Trico Edition which will also be equipped with a gold-coloured rims.

For the Lemon Ice Yellow colour, the side body comes with a striking orange line with a combination of black bold fonts and a white background logo.

Meanwhile, the Candy Caribbean Blue Sea arrives with a mixture of grey and black accents on the side body, further accentuating the sporty looking exterior design.

The Trico Edition on the other hand follows the same design as its bigger, more hardcore sibling - the CBR. Also, as mentioned above, the trademark tri-colour mixture of red, blue, and white on the body will be further complemented by gold rims.

In all, enhancements for 2023 only go as far as the cosmetics are concerned, as the Honda RS-X is still the same machine mechanically. Power comes courtesy of a 149 cc single-cylinder PGM-Fi fuel-injected engine producing  15.8 hp and 13.6 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed transmission.

Other standard features include LED lights, a 4.5-litre fuel tank, ABS, 17-inch tyres, and a digital speedometer with built-in gear indicator.

That being said, the 2023 Honda RS-X is priced at RM9,698 for the Lemon Ice Yellow and Candy Caribbean Blue versions, while the Trico Edition is priced at RM9,748.

According to Boon Siew Honda Malaysia, the Honda RS-X has gained vast popularity among Malaysian users who have appreciated its perfect union of sporty styling, superior performance, and advanced features since its debut in 2021.
