The new 2022 Aprilia RSV4 1100 Factory has made its Malaysian debut and here's all you need to know about it

Didi Group, the sole distributor of Aprilia bikes in Malaysia officially introduced the new 2022 Aprilia RSV4 1100 Factory 

Launched in Ipoh in conjunction with the Big Bike Pitstop program at Didi Group's outlet in Perak, the new Aprilia RSV4 1100 Factory is priced at RM169,900 on the road without insurance. 

Powering the bike is a 1100 cc V4 engine which produces 217 hp and 125 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed cassette type gearbox and the Aprilia Quick Shift electronic system (AQS).

Other highlights include Marelli 48-mm throttle bodies with 8 injectors, Ride-By-Wire engine management, a multi plate wet clutch with mechanical slipper system, as well as the Aprilia Performance Ride Control (APRC) system that includes engine maps (AEM), engine brake control (AEB), traction control (ATC), wheelie control (AWC), launch control (ALC), cruise control (ACC), speed limiter (APT) and six riding modes.

Underpinned by an aluminium dual beam chassis with pressed and cast sheet elements, the new RSV4 1100 Factory's headstock position and angle, engine height, and the swingarm pin height are all adjustable.

Up front, the bike comes with the Smart EC 2.0 electronically managed Öhlins NIX fork, while an upside-down double braced aluminium swingarm is fitted at the rear alongside the Öhlins TTX monoshock suspension with Smart EC 2.0 electronically managed fully-adjustable piggy-back system.

Stopping power comes courtesy of dual 330-mm diameter floating stainless steel disc with lightweight stainless steel rotor and aluminium flange with six pins in front. There are also Brembo Stylema monobloc radial callipers with four opposing
pistons. 

At the rear, we have a 220 mm disc, a Brembo calliper with two 32 mm separate pistons, sintered pads, as well as Bosch ABS with cornering function and 3 map settings, equipped with RLM (Rear wheel Lift-up Mitigation) strategy.

While the fuel tank capacity is rated at 17.9-litres, the new Aprilia RSV4 1100 Factory weighs 202 kg, and comes with a seat height of 845 mm. 

The design on the other hand is inspired by the Aprilia RS 660, which is evident through the design of the front end, the triple LED headlight, and the winglet. 

Last but not least, the new Aprilia RSV4 1100 Factory is available in two colours - Aprilia Black and Lava Red. Here to take on all the other flagship 1,000 cc sports bikes, the new RSV4 1100 Factory is available at all Aprilia authorised dealers nationwide.
