Triumph Motorcycles Malaysia has pulled another amazing feat today with the official arrival of the 2021 Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS for the local market. This is indeed an exciting prospect considering the fact that the model was globally launched just three months ago.

This very muscular roadster is paired with Triumph's high levels of performance that offer great rideability both on and off the track. Powered by a 1,160cc inline-three DOHC engine, the Speed Triple 1200 RS produces around 177hp and 125Nm of torque.

This particular inline-three unit was specifically enhanced for the Speed Triple, which includes a higher redline, as well as new intake and exhaust systems. The engine itself is 7kg lighter with 30hp than its predecessor, which is seen as a 25% in power-to-weight ratio thanks to its 198kg wet weight.

Design-wise, it's really hard to argue that the 2021 Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS is a beautiful beast. This combination of smooth lines and aggressive features comes with a new LED headlight design with striking DRLs, compact bodywork, carbon fibre goodies, and a set of beautifully crafted 17-inch aluminium wheels.

Other key features include a newly designed six-speed manual transmission with a new slip/assist clutch, Triumph Shift Assist quickshifter, Cornering ABS, traction control, selectable riding modes, fully-adjustable Ohlins suspension, Brembo Stylema brakes, Metzeler Racetec RR K3 tyres, and many more.
