Moto Guzzi V7 Stone Centenario celebrates the brand's 100th anniversary

Didi Resources Sdn Bhd, the sole distributor of Moto Guzzi and other brands under the Piaggio flag here in Malaysia, has unveiled the latest 2021 Moto Guzzi V7 Stone Centenario for the local market. This limited edition model was built to commemorate the brand's 100th year anniversary where this particular V7 anniversary edition will only be produced this year in the special Centennial livery.

Inspired by the brand's history in motorsports, the Moto Guzzi V7 Stone Centenario colour combo is inspired by the 350 Bialbero which dominated the 350cc class in the World Championship GP racing from 1953 to 1957. Moto Guzzi's Style Centre showcased the iconic green colourway used on the Normale but with a modern rendition by combining matte, satin, and metallic finishes on the bike's overall exterior. And, there is also the gold-finished eagle and dedicated Moto Guzzi 100 years logo.

The new V7 also comes with a much bigger 850cc transversal 90° V‐twin engine (based on the V85 TT adventure bike) that produces 65hp and 73Nm of torque (a 25% increase compared to the previous 744cc V7 III model). Power is sent down to the rear wheel via a six-speed manual transmission and a final shaft drive.

You'll also get a set of bigger exhaust pipes, 18-inch front wheel (100/90), wider rear wheel (150/70-17), 40mm telescopic front forks, rear KYB shock, front 320mm floating disc brake with Brembo 4-piston caliper, rear 260mm single disc with Brembo floating two-piston caliper, full-LED lights with Moto Guzzi's 'eagle' DRLs, LCD meter, and more.

As stated above, there are only three units available in Malaysia for the 2021 Moto Guzzi V7 Stone Centenario. Each unit is priced at RM72,900 (excluding insurance, road tax, and registration). Head over to the nearest authorised dealer to know more.
