2021 Isuzu D-Max will come with Advanced Driver Assist System
The arrival of the 2021 Isuzu D-Max is just around the corner, and most folks are excited to see what this new pick-up truck offering can bring to the table against its competitors. This third-generation model is confirmed to have upgraded safety features in the form of the Advanced Driver Assist System, or ADAS in short.
Looking at the dedicated site for the new Isuzu D-Max, you can see all the main highlights of their upcoming pick-up offering, which gives us the impression that the D-Max is getting more advanced in terms of technology, safety, comfort, and overall performance.
Speaking of safety, a section of the site that highlights its new safety features include a whole range of electronic driving aids such as:
- Forward Collision Warning (FCW)
- Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB)
- Turn Assist
- AT Pedal Misapplication Mitigation
- Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go (ACC)
- Lane Departure Warning (LDW)
- Automatic High Beam (AHB)
- Blind Spot Monitor (BSM)
- Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA)
- Manual Speed Limiter (MSL)
- Multi Collision Brake
- Seven SRS Airbags + more
That's quite a step up from the previous gen, which also points towards a possible price increase from Isuzu. We're most likely looking at around the ballpark of between RM90,000 to RM150,000 for several variants with two different engine options, the 1.9-litre Ddi BluePower with 150hp and 350Nm of torque, and an improved 3.0-litre with 190hp and 450Nm.
Plus, we have a feeling that it'll be one hell of a beautiful truck. Stay tuned for more updates or CLICK HERE to watch all the highlighted aspects of the all-new Isuzu D-Max.
