The second-gen Honda X-ADV has finally landed in Malaysia and if you think the changes are purely cosmetic, then you're wrong. The 2021 Honda X-ADV is packed with a host of updates and upgrades, including redesigned looks, enhanced performance, and updated electronics for a more versatile and sexy 'adventure scooter' package.

Honda went with the more sharp and aggressive facade this time around, and it's clearly visible via its twin LED headlight setup with those daytime-running lights (DRLs) which come with automatically adjustable ambient light density.

There's also the new windscreen for better weather protection, 1.2-litre glovebox, 22-litre underseat storage with USB charging port, and other additions like a Smart Key system and centre stand with a tilt sensor.

Power comes in the form of a reworked 745cc parallel-twin DOHC engine which now produces close to 58hp at 6,750rpm and 69Nm of torque at 4,750rpm. The power-to-weight ratio is also improved further with the additional 3hp and 1Nm with its new and lighter diamond type frame.

The 2021 Honda X-ADV also comes with a reworked six-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) with the first three being shorter ratios and the final three with slightly longer ones for improved acceleration as well as long-distance comfort cruising plus fuel economy.
