Boon Siew Honda has unveiled its latest 2021 Honda CRF250 Rally for the Malaysian market with some pretty significant upgrades. Priced at RM27,599 (excluding road tax, insurance, and registration), the new CRF250 Rally is said to be lighter with better agility and equipment for those who are looking to explore their wilder riding side.

From the outside, you’ll see that the new CRF250 Rally comes with a larger 12.8-litre fuel tank as well as a new LCD meter with added functions such as a gear position indicator and fuel consumption meter. There’s also the new redesigned LED headlight and turn signals mounted on rubber parts for better longevity when you’re tackling the rough terrains.

Some weight loss was achieved thanks to a new frame and swingarm design, which help to drop its overall weight by 5kg compared to the previous-gen model. Sitting pretty at 152kg (curb), the power-to-weight ratio has also improved thanks to its 250cc single-cylinder DOHC liquid-cooled engine which churns out 24.5hp @ 9,000rpm and 23Nm of torque at 6,500rpm.

Other updates include:

• Assist/slipper clutch for better handling
• Revised gearbox ratios for improved acceleration and cruising
• Broader seat & step rubber for enhanced comfort
• 43mm USD front forks + Pro-Link rear suspension for better agility

As stated above, you can get your very own 2021 Honda CRF250 Rally at RM27,599 but you can only choose one colour option – Extreme Red. Each bike comes with a two-year or 20,000km manufacturer’s warranty and the bike will arrive at authorised showrooms starting 17 March 2021.
