2021 CFMoto 700CL-X Heritage = 700cc modern-retro naked bike priced below RM30k

It has taken quite a while for the 2021 CFMoto 700CL-X Heritage to arrive here in Malaysia since its global debut at EIMCA 2019 (you can thank COVID-19 for that), but it's here (well almost, just waiting for the official launch and the distributor has finally named the price. For those who are interested, it's priced at RM28,800 (excluding insurance, road tax, and registration).

There were three different CFMoto 700CL models that were unveiled during EICMA 2019, but leading the way is the 700CL-X Heritage variant thanks to the ever-increasing demand for powerful modern retros. Speaking of power, the 700CL-X Heritage comes ready with a 693cc parallel-twin engine that produces 74hp and 68Nm of torque.

That's quite a big figure for a bike that's priced below the RM30,000 mark. The CFMoto 700CL-X Heritage also comes with some impressive specs like all-LED lights (with turn signal auto-off feature), six-speed manual transmission with slipper clutch, fully-adjustable 41mm KYM USD front forks, 17-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels, selectable riding modes, Continental ABS, J.Juan developed brakes, plus many more.

If you know a little something about motorcycles, those specs are clearly very interesting for the price that's being offered by CFMoto Malaysia for the 2021 CFMoto 700CL-X Heritage. You can get it in either Twilight Blue or Coal Grey.

We're still waiting for the official launch of this particular model, which will hopefully happen soon but you can probably place a booking for one already. It's hard to beat a sub-RM30,000 700cc naked bike from a brand with very close relations to KTM, but we'll try to get our hands on one for a test ride/review soon.
