Together with the launch of the new BMW 330Li M Sport, BMW Malaysia also took the opportunity to unveil its latest X3 offering, the 2021 BMW X3 sDrive20i. Just like the 330Li, this new X3 is also locally assembled here in the country, which further diversifies BMW Malaysia's portfolio.

According to Harald Hoelzl, Managing Director of BMW Group Malaysia, "The BMW X3 has been one of our leading models in the local market in terms of deliveries since its first introduction in 2011. Ten years on, we are humbled to continue delivering this powerful SAV in a variety of different specifications and variants to our customers here in Malaysia – designed to suit every individual lifestyle."

While the X3 sDrive20i is the entry-level variant for its range, it still carries that rugged yet sporty design that makes it a very popular Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV). The exterior is fitted with the hallmark radiator kidney grille, LED headlights with Extended Contents (cornering lights), 19-inch Y-Spoke light alloy wheels, and other aluminium finished details thanks to BMW Individual Exterior Line.

Powered by a 1.6-litre four-cylinder TwinPower Turbo petrol engine, the new X3 sDrive20i produces 184hp at 5,000rpm and 300Nm of maximum torque from as low as 1,350rpm. 0-100km/h is completed in 8.2 seconds while its top speed is 215km/h. All that power is fed through an eight-speed automatic Steptronic transmission with Automatic Hold Function.
