BMW Motorrad Malaysia has unveiled its latest touring motorcycle offering in the form of the new 2021 BMW R 1250 RT. This time around, the latest-gen R 1250 RT comes with a new look as well as a host of upgrades included as standard equipment. According to them, this bike offers a 'whole new riding experience.'

Starting with the looks, the 2021 BMW R 1250 RT now comes with a redesigned front fairing that further enhances the bike's aerodynamic properties and also houses new full-LED adaptive headlights with swivel function. The rear is also fitted with LED tailight and turning indicators, which can be turned on using the comfort turn indicator fitted as standard.

Other newly-added standard stuff includes a stylish set of cast aluminium wheels, luggage rack, storage compartment, centre stand, integral pannier cases, two-tone fanfare, and an adjustable windscreen. Future owners will also get adjustable brake and clutch levers with heated grips fitted as standard as well.

Talking about power, the new R 1250 RT is fitted with a Euro5-compliant 1,254cc boxer engine that churns out 136hp at 7,750rpm and 143Nm of torque at 6,250rpm. This comfortable yet dynamic power unit is further enhanced with the brand's legendary final driveshaft, BMW ShiftCam technology, and Dynamic ESA “Next Generation” electronic suspension with fully automatic load compensation.
