BMW Malaysia has introduced the latest generation 2021 BMW 320i Sport for the local market which now comes with the brand's latest infotainment system, the BMW Live Cockpit Professional. This more complete 'digitalised experience' comes with a price tag of RM243,883.65 (on-the-road price excluding SST & insurance, plus BMW Malaysia's extended warranty and Service Package).
So, that's an RM4,000 extra compared to what was offered before for the BMW 320i Sport sans the BMW Live Cockpit Professional. This latest BMW 3 Series CKD offering now comes ready with the upgraded central information display and instrument display cluster in the form of a new 10.25-inch display and a 12.3-inch display instrument display cluster.
Those are quite the upgrades compared to the previous offerings that came with an 8.8-inch display central info display and 5.1-inch instrument display cluster. The new updates offer a more focused and fully configurable display that allows the user to navigate through several functions like navigation, selectable driving modes, and other features like the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant aka "Hey BMW".
The power production department has been retained in the form of a 2.0-litre TwinPower Turbo petrol engine that produces 184hp at 5,000rpm and 300Nm of torque as low as 1,350rpm. All that power is sent down to the wheels via an 8-speed Steptronic Sport transmission that helps to propel the new BMW 320i Sport from 0-100kph in just 7.1 seconds, and ahead to its top speed of 235kph.
The new BMW 320i Sport is available in five different colour options - Phytonic Blue, Black Sapphire, Alpine White, Mineral Grey, and Sunset Orange. Priced at RM243k, the 320i Sport also comes with a five-year unlimited mileage warranty, BMW Roadside Assistance, and more. All authorised showrooms are closed at the moment due to the 'full lockdown', but interested parties can still view the car online at https://shop.bmw.com.my.
