Yamaha bikes assembler and distributor Hong Leong Yamaha Motor Sdn Bhd (HLYM) today announced a series of new colour schemes for its 2020 model year Yamaha NVX scooter offering.

As you can probably guess, the same treatment seen recently in the larger X-Max 250 scooter offering is mirrored here, bringing forth a trio of new and ‘premium’ colour and graphic schemes to set it apart from past year iterations.

Besides Yamaha’s signature blue hue, the 2020MY NVX model gets a fresh new yellow and red colourway scheme.

Before you ask, no, there aren’t any changes to this peppy scooter’s mechanical specifications. To refresh your memory, the NVX is motivated by a liquid-cooled 155cc single-cylinder heart that thumps out 14.7bhp and 13.8Nm of twist. Both outputs are managed by a twist-and-go CVT automatic and belt driveline.

Notable on board features include keyless ignition, full-LED headlights, single 12-volt accessories socket, digital LCD instrument display, engine idling stop-start to maximise fuel efficiency, as well as the inclusion of a single-channel ABS (front) suite.

Predictably, HLYM says that NVX’s current base price tag of RM10,088 (excluding OTR costs) also remain unchanged. The firm says the 2020MY NVX with its new colourway options will hit authorised dealer floors nationwide starting this month.
