14-year-old Hakim Danish dominated last weekend's Ohvale Coppa Italia Junior MiniGP in Italy

Last weekend marked the fifth and final round of the Ohvale Coppa Italia Junior MiniGP championship series (4-5 September 2021) where 14-year-old Malaysian rider, Hakim Danish, not only participated but dominated with back-to-back wins in the GP2 190 Junior category.

The 2020 SIC MiniGP Championship 160cc champion went to Pomposa, Italy under the guidance of ZK Racing's Zulfahmi Khairuddin as well as the support from the Sepang International Circuit (SIC). The young and promising rider showcased his talent and riding prowess by not only winning but also setting a new record at the track.

Hakim Danish made his first international outing in the 2021 Honda European Talent Cup (ETC) which ran together with the FIM CEV Championship rounds. Hailing from Terengganu, the 14-year-old was seen as a potential to become the next big thing in Malaysia's growing pool of talented riders. Being guided by Zulfahmi Khairuddin is also quite a boost for the young Malaysian.

We should all keep an eye out for this very talented young man as he continues to prove his skills against other highly competitive riders in the international scene. His wins in Italy were definitely a great step-up, and we expect to see a lot more great achievements from him. Hakim Danish, remember this name.
