10 Nissan service centres allowed to reopen

By thoriq, 30 April 2020

Local Nissan vanguards Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM) have received government approval to reopen 10 of its core Tan Chong Ekspres Auto Servis Sdn Bhd (TCEAS) service centres nationwide starting today.

As we seen with other carmakers allowed to do the same over the past week (Honda, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Volkswagen and Hyundai), these TCEAS centres are subjected to several key restrictions. These include minimal operational staff and hours, entry screening and crowd control protocols, and accepting customers by appointments only.

Besides that, TCEAS centres will practice a 'Drop Off and Pick-Up' protocol for customers as they will not be allowed to wait on premise. TCEAS will also prefer customers to perform contactless payment methods.

Visiting customers will also be glad to know that these TCEAS centres will be at hand to provide face masks and dispense hand sanitisers on premise, regularly disinfecting their premises, as well as disinfecting all cars before and after servicing.

Appointments can be set online via the TCEAS website, DriveOn mobile app, or by calling Nissan's customer care line (1-800-88-3838). Additionally, ETCM notes that TCEAS centres in other locations will also resume operations, but these will be reopened in stages at a later date.

The locations, as well as the operating hours and contact numbers of these 10 TCEAS service centres currently allowed to operate are available below.
