The Petronas Sepang Racing Team (SRT) has formed a new partnership with kick scooter manufacturer, Velocifero, which has led to the official showcase of their concept limited edition Mad Air electric kick scooter. The PSRT Velocifero Mad Air was showcased in conjunction with the Dutch GP happening this weekend in Assen, Netherlands.

The prototype scooters will be used by the team to commute in and around the track where it is said to offer a combination of style, performance, and practicality. Its power comes from a 350W electric motor together with a removable 36V 10.4Ah battery pack. Weighing in at 16kg, this particular Mad Air electric scooter is of course dressed in the Petronas SRT signature colours.

While these are still considered as prototypes, Petronas SRT will be evaluating a limited-edition production run if there's interest from fans and enthusiasts. You can check out the PSRT Velocifero Mad Air electric scooter in the video link, below (mark 4:20).
