To commemorate the partnership between IWC Schaffhausen and Mercedes-AMG since 2004, the Swiss luxury watchmaker has launched the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Edition “AMG”.

Crafted from automotive engineering materials, the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Edition “AMG” is the first 43-millimeter watch to include the IWC-manufactured 69358 calibre movement. 

Watch enthusiasts should also take note it comes with case made of lightweight and scratch-resistant Grade 5 titanium inspired by AMG’s signature Selenite Grey Magno paint finish. It’s self-winding with a 46-hour reserve. 

Interestingly, adding to the timepiece’s lightness is the woven carbon-fibre dial that’s contrasted with the silver chronograph sub-dials and counters. This helps the dial’s key features stand out against the darkened carbon watch face.

IWC is already accepting pre-orders for its AMG special. The watch is also eligible for the My IWC care program that adds a six-year extension to the standard two-year international limited warranty.
