The facelifted Mercedes-Benz CLA 4-door coupé starts from RM236,888

The facelift for the Mercedes-Benz CLA line-up has finally been unveiled for Malaysia, and the enhancements are rather dynamic. All models now feature the AMG Line exterior, comprising of a front apron, rear apron, and side sills, complimented with the chrome-plated twin tailpipe exhaust and the signature diamond radiator grille with chrome pins. The headlights have been upgraded to LED High Performance headlamps with its direction indicators, daytime running lamps and position lights in the form of multifunctional fibre-optic cables. The rear lights have also been refreshed with a new design and feature automatic intensity control for reducing glare.

The updated interior features new seat covers and trim parts, as well as chrome-plated controls. Taking highlight is a much slimmer-looking freestanding 20.3 cm (8-inch) media display with a new-style glass cover. The CLA 200 and CLA 250 Sport 4MATIC are equipped with the Audio 20 CD systems, while the Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 is equipped with COMAND Online. The instrument cluster comes with new-style dials and red needles for easier reading.

The Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 4Matic also receives aerodynamic enhancements with a new rear AMG spoiler lip and the AMG front apron in a new A-wing design with front splitter inserts in matt titanium grey and high-gloss black flics. The latter also help to improve the flow of cooling air. The diffuser insert at the rear comes with a new design with four vertical fins. An optional AMG Aerodynamics package is also offered, comprising of a larger front splitter, additional flics, a black AMG spoiler lip at the rear plus spoiler lips over the simulated air outlets on either side at the back. With an output of 381hp and 475Nm, the turbocharged AMG 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine will accelerate the CLA 45 to 100km/h in just 4.2 seconds.
