The Works Ministry have confirmed that the four highway concessionaires which are entitled to change their toll rates this year will not raise prices. The four expressways are the Eastern Dispersal Link (EDL), the Kajang-Seremban Highway (LEKAS), the Senai-Desaru Expressway (SDE) and the Guthrie Corridor Expressway (GCE).

Deputy Minister in the Work Ministry, Datuk Rosnah Abdul Rashid Shirlin said, “Thus far, there have been no talks about hike in toll rates, hence, there is no such decision (revising toll rates)," she said when met by reporters during an event in Petaling Jaya, yesterday.

Last year, a decision was also made that the current toll rates for 12 highway concessionaires will be retained.
