It’s still quite a brand new nameplate in Malaysia, but the HR-V has already received some sort of an update now with a new Dark Ruby Red Pearl colour to choose from. Apparently this is due to the healthy response received for the City and Jazz available in a similar red hue.

Other colours available are Taffeta White, Modern Steel Metallic and Ruse Black Metallic.

Additionally, the HR-V comes with new 17-inch wheel design across all variants to give a sportier look. Previously the HR-V was standing on 16-inch wheels.

A new rear shelf is introduced as well as an optional accessory is priced at RM550.

Since its launch in February 2015, the HR-V has sold over 28,500 units as of April 2016 and remains in lead position in the compact SUV segment. At the time being, Honda Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. expects to sell 1,500 units of the 1.8-litre compact SUV monthly.

The HR-V is available in three variants: 1.8L S, 1.8L E and 1.8L V. They are priced RM102,200, RM111,800, and RM122,200 respectively (OTR price + insurance and GST).
