It seems Volvo Cars Malaysia Sdn Bhd is on course towards ramping up its local network after announcing SISMA Auto as its new authorised partners.

In case you didn’t know, local firm SISMA Auto is renowned as the guardian of the Jaguar and Land Rover marques here – the latter through its partnership with Sime Darby in Jaguar Land Rover (JLR)  Malaysia.

“We are looking forward to working with Volvo, which has an exciting range of new models at very competitive prices that meet the needs of the Malaysian market,” said SISMA Auto’s MD Syed Khalil Syed Ibrahim (main pic, left) upon announcing this new venture.

The announcement came earlier today with SISMA Auto revealing its plans to repurpose its city centre showroom in Menara Worldwide off Jalan Bukit Bintang. Work has apparently begun and the firm looks set to reopen it as its first Volvo showroom in October this year.

Customers residing within close vicinity to the firm’s upcoming showroom in the city centre will benefit with SISMA Auto’s Concierge Service that offers home or office vehicle pick-up and drop-off. Servicing, on the other hand, will be carried out at SISMA Auto’s off-site premise.

In conjunction with its new appointment, lucky customers who purchase a new Volvo with SISMA Auto stand a chance to win an all-expenses paid trip to Sweden. More details on this promotion will be revealed soon.

Despite this new venture with the renowned Swedish marque, SISMA Auto also clarified that it remains committed towards building the Jaguar and Land Rover marques still. Beyond repurposing its Menara Worldwide showroom, operations in SISMA Auto’s Glenmarie and Penang centres for said brands will continue as usual.
