Jaguar Land Rover Malaysia has given confirmation that the Range Rover Velar will arrive into the local market early Q2 of 2018. This SUV is positioned between sit in between the Range Rover Evoque and the Range Rover Sport, a massive void which has been available for quite some time.

We’ve seen one in the UK recently and let us tell you, it’s absolutely gorgeous. The proportions, shape and with how the lines are used make it outstanding. While we may have mentioned that it positions below the Sport, but the amount of wheelbase makes it look just as large.

Built in the UK at the company’s Solihull factory, the Velar features a monocoque mainly made from aluminium based on Jaguar Land Rover’s Lightweight Aluminium Architecture. In fact, aluminium forms more than 81 per cent of the SUV’s body-in-white and unmatchable by any of its competitors.
