Mercedes-Benz Malaysia had a very successful campaign with its Mercedes-AMG compact car offerings last year, which is why they have announced today that the updated 2021 Mercedes AMG A 45 S 4MATIC+ and Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 S 4MATIC+ are now ready and waiting for their future owners here in the country.

Replacing the outgoing Mercedes-AMG A 45 S 4MATIC+ Edition 1, the Mercedes-AMG A 45 S 4MATIC+ comes with the unique and distinctive AMG grille, AMG high-performance brake system (red calipers with black lettering), and 19-inch AMG five-twin-spoke light alloy wheels finished in matte black.

Like the previous model, this updated A 45 S features the AMG Night package that comes with design features finished in black and high-gloss black. You'll find these said features on its AMG front splitter and trim, side sill panels with inserts, beltline and window line trim strips, mirror housing, AMG rear aero foil, and tailpipe trim elements. Very 'garang' one.

The inside is just as 'AMG' as the outside, where future customers can enjoy its AMG Performance steering wheel wrapped with nappa leather and Dinamica microfibre, and AMG Performance seats with red designo seatbelts for that extra sporty 'oomph'.

As for the 2021 Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 S 4MATIC+, it is now enhanced with a Head Up Display fitted as standard. Both of these models are fitted with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine (currently the world's most powerful turbocharged four-cylinder manufactured for series production) that produces 421hp at 6,750rpm and 500Nm of torque at 5,000rpm.

0-100kph? 3.9 seconds (4.0 seconds for the CLA 45 S 4MATIC+). Top speed? 270kph.
