This is how Lamborghini Day Japan looked like

Lamborghini Day Japan

We know that Lamborghini is popular brand in Japan, although mostly from the amazing underground scene and its unconventional modification. But evidently there is a sizeable amount of sensible folks who keep them standard (mostly standard, we’re sure).

That’s a good quality to have when you’re in a Lamborghini car meet held at the Yokohama Super Factory film studio attended by the Italian company’s boss, Stefano Domenicali, chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini. The event featured the Asia Pacific premiere of the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ, which made its debut at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance earlier this year and set a lap record for production cars at the Nürburgring-Nordschleife with a lap-time of 6:44.97 minutes.

Of course, the cars also drove around the central Yokohama area. It must have made quite an impression because 200 Lamborghinis with V10 and V12 engines – including the Miura, LM002, Countach, and obviously the latest models – is a visual and acoustic feast. Later during a party of Lamborghini owners, a charity auction was held to collect funds for victims of natural disasters in Osaka, Hokkaido, and other areas in the country.
