The updated 2020 Honda CR-V is a hit amongst Malaysians

After being launched just last month, the refreshed 2020 Honda CR-V has proven to be a big hit amongst many Malaysians indeed. Honda Malaysia announced via press release earlier today that it has received over 1,700 bookings for the model since it debuted.

Said booking figure marks a staggering 180% increase from before, and the firm further adds that up to 1,300 units have been delivered to date. In regards to the latter, Honda Malaysia reassures customers that their orders will be “delivered in a timely manner”.

ICYMI, the updated 2020 Honda CR-V introduced last month arrives with three upgraded variants to choose from, each sporting a host of standard features plus Honda's advanced driver assistance systems present on board too.

Notably, it's the new 1.5TC-P 2WD mid-spec variant that's proving to be the most popular, making up 46% of the total bookings Honda Malaysia received thus far. With the on-going SST break until Dec 31, this variant commands RM157,616 presently – it goes up to RM164,300 come Jan 1, 2021.

Other variants present include a brand new 1.5TC-P 4WD range-topper priced at RM162,910 (RM169,900 without sales tax), followed by a non-turbo 2.0 2WD base-model that commands RM139,912 (RM145,400 with sales tax).
