Novitec’s take on the Ferrari F8 Tributo has 807bhp

Yeah, the Ferrari 296 GTB might be the newest kid on the block at Maranello, but German tuner Novitec wants you to remember that the F8 Tributo still exists…

Its attempt at jogging your memory revolves around this – the rather striking F8-based N-Largo. Now, you’ll have heard that moniker before. Novitec actually applies it to every car that gets a widebody conversion in its workshop, and previous iterations have been based on Ferrari F12s, 812 Superfasts and McLaren 720Ss.

The F8 N-Largo is limited to just 15 examples, with each one getting the wild carbon fibre addendums you see here. There’s a roof scoop, those massive side air intakes, new front and rear bumpers, a new diffuser and that large ducktail spoiler – all of which can be painted in body colour or left bare. Apparently all of these extras have been developed in the wind tunnel and reduce aerodynamic lift, whilst improving cooling for the mid-mounted V8 and the brakes.

There are new forged wheels courtesy of American manufacturer Vossen too, as well as new suspension that drops the F8 by 35mm.

The 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 hasn’t escaped the tuning treatment – a new engine control unit and a lightweight Inconel exhaust combine for an improved (and frankly ridiculous) 807bhp and 900Nm of torque. The result? 0-100kph in 2.6 seconds and a top speed somewhere north of 340kph. Crikey.

Novitec also says that every detail of the Ferrari’s interior can be customised with different colours of leather or Alcantara based on the buyer’s preference. What spec would you go for folks?
