It’s official, the Ford Ranger Raptor is the most expensive pickup truck you can purchase in Malaysia. Retailing at RM199,888, the Ranger Raptor costs more than TWO units of the Ranger 2.2L XL Double Cab MT, which goes for RM95,888 apiece.

Considering the Ranger Raptor gives you the most gears (ten!) and goodies (FOX shock absorbers, Baja Mode, etc.) in the pickup truck market right now, some off-road enthusiasts will eventually meet that asking price. After all, it’s the only natural upgrade for those who already own a Ranger Wildtrak.

The Ford Ranger Raptor is currently on display at the Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show, where a brand new Ford Mustang GT is being shown as well. The latest iteration of Ford’s five-litre V8 pony car was specially flown into Malaysia by air freight for the 10-day exhibition. KLIMS 2018 ends on 2 December, so there’s still time if you want to catch a glimpse of it.
