BMW Malaysia delivers fleet of 5 Series for CIMB Classic

Earlier today BMW Malaysia handed over a fleet of BMW 530e Sport to be used as the official cars for the upcoming CIMB Classic 2018 fulfilling its role as the premium partner of the tournament. The tournament will take place at TPC Kuala Lumpur from 11 to 14 October 2018.

The BMW 5 Series Hybrid with eDrive Technology vehicles will be used to shuttle all players, officials, as well as VIPs who will be in Malaysia throughout the tournament. The CIMB Classic 2018 will feature 78 players, including defending champion Pat Perez, and world number four Justin Thomas seeking his third CIMB Classic title. Also vying for the US$7 million prize fund are BMW Championship winner Keegan Bradley, World Golf Hall of Fame members Ernie Els and Davis Love III, England’s world number 19 Paul Casey, and Japan’s five-time PGA Tour winner Hideki Matsuyama.

The cars that will be showcased during the tournament include the BMW i8, BMW X3 xDrive30i, BMW 530i M Sport, BMW X2 xDrive20i, and the BMW 740Le xDrive. A unit of the latter is also the prize for the hole-in-one winner.
