Malaysia will have a team in the inaugural FIA GT Nations Cup with Zen Low and Mitchell Cheah in the driver’s seat, and led by Alex Yoong. The race will be held at the Bahrain International Circuit on 1 December 2018.

The grid will be lined up with 30 cars, each represented by a country. Competing cars will meet current FIA GT3 regulations with over 550hp of power; and the two drivers will participate in two practice sessions, two qualifying sessions, two qualifying races of sixty minutes each, and a third and final race of sixty minutes in order to determine the overall winners.

On the FIA GT Nations Cup, Alex says, “Both Zen and Mitchell have been very disciplined and rigorous in their training regime. They’ve been focusing on their strengths and are determined to make a good showing in Bahrain”.

Both Zen Low and Mitchell Cheah has never raced at the Bahrain circuit but it shouldn’t be much of an issue for them. Zen has accumulated a fair share of experience in his more than 10 years of racing, while Mitchell is a quick learner who won the 2018 TCR Southeast Asia championship back in July.
