MForce Bike Holdings, the official distributor for SYM motorcycles here in Malaysia, has officially unveiled the 2021 SYM Jet X 150 scooter for the local market. The 150cc scooter with very modern styling was previewed last month, and now, there will be two different models available at different prices, depending on your preferred colour choice.

If you opt for any of the standard colour options (Grey, Red or Yellow), the 2021 SYM Jet X 150 will set you back at RM8,888 (price excluding insurance, road tax, and registration). There is also the Special Edition (SE) colour, which is Chameleon Blue that's priced at RM9,188, which is still very affordable despite the RM200 mark up.

This funky scooter is powered by a 150cc single-cylinder engine that produces around 12.3hp at 8,000rpm and 12Nm of torque at 6,000rpm. To keep up with its slightly futuristic design thanks to its sharp edges, all LED lights, digital LCD meter, and more, the Jet X 150 also comes with a smart key system that includes a burglar alarm for added security. 

Other features available on the 2021 SYM Jet X 150 include a 7.5-litre fuel tank, 18-litre underseat storage, CBS-type brakes, front telescopic forks, twin rear shock absorbers, USB charger, 140kg wet weight, plus more. The price that you pay for this particular 150cc scooter will also come with a two-year manufacturer's warranty or 20,000km (whichever comes first).
