This year’s Ferrari Challenge Asia-Pacific championship is proving to be a bit more special for all of us because for the first time the series is participated by a Malaysian. Zen Low is a name that needs no introduction for local racing enthusiasts, and in the 2017 season is driving for the NAZA Aylezo team. Of course, the team itself is Malaysia-based.

Zen Low has been doing quite well so far, with double podiums in the first two races in Abu Dhabi (second and third).

Next time out in Shanghai and Zheijiang, the man secured yet another two podiums.

Currently, Zen Low sits third overall in his racing category. He will be participating the entire 2017 season under the race number 69.

2017 is the first time the latest 488 Challenge race car is used, replacing the previous 458 Challenge. As the first model in this race series equipped with a turbo engine, the Ferrari 488 Challenge is the most powerful car in the history of one-make series. Derived from the 488 GTB, the V8 3.9-litre engine – winner of the International Engine of the Year Award in 2016, delivers 670hp.
