Let’s welcome the S 400h AMG Line, the latest trim in the range from Mercedes-Benz Malaysia. Priced at RM598,888, the name suggests of the addition of an AMG kit that include AMG bodystyling, distinctive 19-inch AMG light-alloy wheels, and two visible tailpipes ensure a dynamic look when viewed from any angle. Underneath the flared wheel arches and behind the large alloys hide perforated brake discs.

Underneath the bonnet is a 3.5-litre, 6-cylinder engine that produces 306hp and 370Nm. Then there’s the electric motor, giving an additional 26hp and 250Nm. The car does the century sprint in 6.8 seconds before reaching a top speed of 250kph; impressive, even more so is its 6.3L/100km of fuel efficiency potential.

Standard features in the S 400h AMG Line include Airmatic air suspension system, Active Parking Assist, Distronic Plus with Steer Assist and Stop and Go Pilot, Rear belt bag with gas-inflation during crash, Power closing function for doors, and climatised rear seats.
