KLIMS, it’s back. Again.

KLIMS is back from a five year break, and from 23 November to 2 December 2018 The Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA) as event organiser hopes that it will continue to be represented as the eminent national automotive event.

The launch event to announce KLIMS’ (Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show) comeback was officiated by YB Dato’ Sri Mustapa bin Mohamed, the Minister of International Trade and Industry who witnessed the signing ceremony between Datuk Aishah Ahmad, President of MAA and Datuk Zainal Abidin Ahmad, the Chairman of Trade-Link Exhibition Services Sdn Bhd, which is the show manager of KLIMS 2018.

It will no longer be held at the PWTC, instead moved to the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Kuala Lumpur involving a gross exhibition area totalling over 50,000 square meter. The theme of KLIMS this time is ‘Beyond Mobility’. MAA expects more than 350,000 visitors to the 10-day event.

Up to now the automotive companies which have agreed to take part in KLIMS 2018 are Daihatsu, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Infiniti, Isuzu, Kawasaki, Kia, Lexus, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Peugeot, Perodua, Proton, Toyota, UD, V-Kool, and 3M.

As you can see from the list above it’s not just about car companies. Related industries/companies namely accessories suppliers, auto-service related providers will take part. To-date, it is said that around 63 per cent of available exhibition space has already been taken.
