Honda Jazz X-Road debuts at Geneva

A rugged option for Jazz fans

Honda Jazz X Road 2

The Jazz has always been known as practical, and cute even. Nowadays, the positioning also leans towards sporty especially when packed with the i-DCD Sport Hybrid powertrain. But the car has never been seen as ‘rugged’.

That’s taken care by the new Jazz X-Road that has appeared at the Geneva International Motor Show alongside the new Dynamic 1.5-litre i-VTEC variant. Not much of the X-Road has been revealed however, although clearly it now boasts plastic mouldings around the wheel archers. Actually, it reminds us of the Nissan X-Gear. Let’s move on…

The X-Road also comes with side body trims, front and rear lower decorations, side skirts, and X-Road floor mats.

The Honda X-Road has 16-inch alloys with drive coming off a 103ps 1.3-litre engine that's mated to a manual gearbox or optional CVT. You read that right, a manual gearbox; because: rugged.
