Don’t get too excited, because it’ll be only for Europe first. Order books expected to be open early 2018
If you’ve been following our report of the current Geneva International Motor Show, it’s quite clear that there are plenty of concepts on the show floor. Expected, of course. But there is at least one concept that has been confirmed for production. Let me clarify that – one that is more pocket-friendly for the non-first/business class flyers. And it comes from Honda.
“A production version of this highly acclaimed concept will be introduced to Europe during late 2019, and in response to this positive feedback, we expect to open order banks for the Urban EV during early 2019.”
Details of this model – even in the current concept form – is not quite available, not even regarding the electrical powertrain. What it is, or will be, (is) Honda’s first mass-produced battery vehicle sold in Europe. Yes, in case you haven’t caught on, it will only be available for Europe, first.
The Urban EV will seat four on two rows of bench seats in a cabin designed to feel like a lounge.
Dear Honda, the Sport EV Concept comes after that, right?
