The locally-assembled Haval H2 now comes in a new colour of Haval Blue (which the perceptive amongst you will notice is not the colour provided here, go figure), in addition to the existing Haval Red. Additionally, it also comes with a new rim design.

With a price of RM98,950 for the Comfort Auto variant and RM101,950 for the Premium Auto, the H2 is powered by a turbocharged 1.5-litre petrol engine that makes 147bhp and 210Nm. The gearbox is a 6-speed auto.

Standard equipment in the car includes LED DRL, halogen headlights, keyless entry system, dual-zone air-cond, sunroof, and push-start button.

For safety, the CKD Haval H2 is equipped with six airbags, reverse sensors and camera; and electronic stability program (ESP). It even has a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). Based on the C-NCAP standard the H2 is good for the maximum 5-star rating.

Go Auto, Haval’s official distributor in Malaysia targets to sell up to 2,100 units of the locally-assembled Haval H2 until 2018.

Interestingly, the company is having a ‘Buy Back Guarantee’ scheme which ensures that Haval owners will get 50 per cent of the vehicle’s resale value if it is resold to the company within five years.
